The Commerce Mentorship Program (CMP) is a volunteer organization committed to improving the academic and social lives of first- and second-year Sauder students. In addition to matching new students with senior students through our mentor program, we hold group tutorials for junior Commerce courses, provide academic advising, and host fun-filled events such as our annual golf event. In short, the CMP is a network of students helping students.

Mentoring Program

To help students get acquainted with the Sauder life on a first hand and personal level, 1st and 2nd year students are paired up with 3rd and 4th year students based on desired option, personality, and interest. As a member of the mentorship program you will be invited to various CMP events such as the Mentor & Mentee Meet and Greet.

Tutoring Services

FREE weekly review sessions will help students reconsolidate what they’ve just learned, in addition to concise midterm and final review sessions.  We also have the resources to find you additional tutoring if necessary.

Events

Be sure to check out CMP’s first event – Mentor & Mentee Meet and Greet! A night of ice breakers, casual networking with other students, food and lots of fun! More events to come later in the year!

Involvement

Looking to get involved within the Sauder community? There are LOTS of ways you can get involved with CMP. Currently, we’re looking for mentors, mentees and tutors. This is your chance to make an impact on someone’s university life and give back to the Sauder community!  Check out of website for more information and application forms.

Tutors are paid $25/hr. Tutor applications are due September 18, 2011.
