What is the purpose of the UBC Marketing Association?

Our vision is to bring together anyone with an interest for marketing, but also to show our members the full potential that a marketing career has to offer. From our signature networking event, Gateways, to our informative “Day in the Firm” tours; from our “Insight into Marketing” sessions, to our creative Advertising competitions, UBCMA hopes to connect you to your passion for marketing.

Through our events, we hope to cater to all years, whether you are a first or second year looking to find out more about marketing as a career, or a third or fourth year student wanting to establish valuable industry relationships to help you pursue your dream job. Even if you have decided that marketing is not for you, UBCMA still provides the opportunity for fun and outgoing individuals to connect with each other, regardless of what your career interests are.
