Industry Night Case Competition
This is an evening that allows TLog students to meet business professionals in the logistics industries. This allows students to learn what types of positions are available with a TLog degree and allows professionals to with meet students who will be able to bring new ideas and fresh outlooks to their companies after graduation. The evening will allow for networking between the students and the professionals as well as an industry-judged case competition in which students solve real world logistics problems.

Awards Night
This is an excellent event for business professionals to meet students who are currently in the TLog option. A networking period allows students to meet exciting alumni who are presently employed in the industries and where business executives are able to meet bright students with an interest in logistics. There will also be a speaker panel representing all the major concentrations of TLog as well as a recognition of outstanding students in the program, along with a special recognition for our sponsors and our alumni of the year.
What is Our Mission?
The mission of the Transportation and Logistics Club is to promote interest and awareness in the fields of supply chain management and to provide students with resources, information and connections to succeeed in the supply chain industry.
What is TLog?
TLog is the flow of goods, information and money throughout an organization. It encompasses aspects of Finance, Marketing, and Accounting while giving you a broad picture of companies’ operations. You will learn about the efficiency and effectiveness of various transportation alternatives, warehousing and distribution, supply chain management and performance and inventory measurement techniques. In addition, students choose one of Air Transportation, Shipping and International Logistics, or Project Appraisal and Management.
This option is designed to prepare you for careers with carriers, logistics functions in manufacturing and distribution firms, and government departments at the city, provincial, and federal levels. You will receive training in transport economics and management, government investment and regulatory programs affecting transportation and utilities, and business logistics. Courses emphasize current and applied problems and the use of computers in management and problem solving. It is recommended that you use electives to gain complimentary knowledge in related fields such as marketing, finance, and quantitative methods.
