Our mission is simple: improve our members’ communication skills to give them the edge in the classroom and eventually, in the workforce. We provide opportunities to improve your skills in networking, negotiation, communication, leadership, public speaking, you name it! Because building strong communication skills is critical regardless of a student’s career path, BizzComm welcomes students from all faculties. Unlike profession-focused clubs around campus, BizzComm is a club that fills a need at every workplace.

Amongst our signature events are: Etiquette & Netiquette, a lifestyle event to mould you into a professional; Executive Night, a learning and sharing event featuring prominent business leaders; and SpeakOut Public Speaking Competition, the largest of its kind on campus. Featuring on our member-exclusive events are renowned leaders of Canada’s leading institutions in addition to executive coaches, etiquette consultants and professional speakers, allowing every member to get first hand experience from the experts.

While university is an important stage for learning and development, there are just some lessons that can’t be taught within the classroom. With change and continual improvement at the core of our mandate, we are excited to introduce a new professional development theme in each of our events.
